Therese McDonald has been walking with individuals and families for over 30 years, giving guidance through difficult challenges, helping them to come to solid solutions in Christ, Jesus.

Married for 36 yrs to her beloved Glen, a mother to four now-grown children, Therese comes alongside people as they strive to grow in holiness and joy. She home educated for 22 yrs. and has been trained in cognitive mediation.

Therese helps people to maintain faith and sanity in these hard times and has given guidance and direction to hundreds and hundreds of dear souls through her work, Attaching Hearts to Home.

She, her husband and her family run an apostolate called Chesterton House out of Mundare, having purchased the old Mundare Hospital, offering a calendar of events for families and individuals, working diligently to build Catholic culture and a community of faith. By God's grace they give hospitality to many, and provide a place of peace for their guests.

Therese's favourite prayer is "Holy Spirit, take over" as she willingly jumps into the deep and hard parts of life with those the Lord brings her way. As a well-known speaker Therese uses an interactive approach, entering into dialogue with those present, creating space for questions, and personalizing her talks to the group. She truly cares about her audience members and avoids merely pushing through prepared talks. Be prepared to go beyond basic responses and cookie-cutter talks, but instead enter into meaningful truth, goodness, and beauty.
